Sequences, Series, and Credit Card Fees

Blog
[mathjax] If you're like me, you may have suffered through sequences and series in Calculus class with amazement: it makes sense, but how did anyone come up with this in the first place? Why would they think to even do this? Clearly smarter people exist in the world to bring such strange things to us. But I was looking at this problem recently... PupAlert Launches to Prevent Puppy Messes

Announcements
Hooper Engineering is proud to announce the availability of the PupAlert Doggy Potty Alert System. Working in coordination with the PupAlert startup team, Hooper Engineering developed the circuit hardware, software algorithms, and firmware that powers the PupAlert sensor device. PupAlert is a portable sensor that lets you know when your dog is ready to go outside. Initially used in combination with puppy potty training, the device lets out an audible alert to assist in the training process and later helps you as a dog owner by signaling your mobile device whenever your four-pawed friend need to go out. Hooper Engineering guided the development process and assisted at every step to get manufactured product ready for sale, including the development of a custom digital signal processing algorithm that drives the core…

Beru is Live on Kickstarter

Announcements
What is Beru? “Beru” is Japanese for “bell”, which is appropriate for this innovative device. Beru is a bridge between un-connected, traditional security and alert systems and the connected world of IoT and the Internet. Once set up, Beru monitors for the sounds of alerts and alarms from these older systems and relays the alerts to the user’s mobile device, keeping the user apprised of potential emergencies even in uninhabited offices or vacation homes. Hooper Engineering provided hardware design consultation and quick-turn design services, delivering the ready-to-order design in ten business days. Hooper Engineering and Pixelteq Showcase the SeaChanger Prodigy Color Engine

Announcements
Hooper Engineering is proud to introduce the Pixelteq SeaChanger Prodigy™️ color engine at the LDI 2015 show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The SeaChanger color engine is an add-on device to the popular Source Four™️ product line from Electronic Theater Controls (ETC), and the Prodigy extends this functionality with a higher performance and lower cost version for LED-type fixtures. In under four months, working closely with the PixelTeq team, Hooper Engineering was able to provide the circuit design and motor control expertise—realized in a set of production-ready PCBs, as well as the operating firmware that controls the Prodigy. Simplifying previous SeaChanger designs, the Prodigy has a single PCB that provides an interface for motor control, user commands, and DMX control, which will reduce the overall cost and complexity…
