Hooper Engineering is proud to introduce the Pixelteq SeaChanger Prodigy™️ color engine at the LDI 2015 show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The SeaChanger color engine is an add-on device to the popular Source Four™️ product line from Electronic Theater Controls (ETC), and the Prodigy extends this functionality with a higher performance and lower cost version for LED-type fixtures.
In under four months, working closely with the PixelTeq team, Hooper Engineering was able to provide the circuit design and motor control expertise—realized in a set of production-ready PCBs, as well as the operating firmware that controls the Prodigy. Simplifying previous SeaChanger designs, the Prodigy has a single PCB that provides an interface for motor control, user commands, and DMX control, which will reduce the overall cost and complexity of the SeaChanger product while enhancing its performance.
Please visit the PixelTeq booth at LDI to try a Prodigy for yourself!
